Practice Teams:
Travis Stokes practices in the areas of employment law and business litigation. He represents employers against claims of wrongful termination, sexual harassment, unlawful discrimination, and wage and hour disputes. He also represents clients in contractual disputes, real property disputes, creditors' rights, competitive business practice actions, fraud, breaches of fiduciary responsibility, and administration matters. Travis has handled cases in courts throughout the state, in arbitrations, and at mediations. He has handled cases before administrative agencies such as the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Labor Commissioner, the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the Employment Development Department.
Prior to joining Fishman, Larsen, Goldring & Zeitler, Travis was an associate with the law firm of Weiss, Martin, Salinas & Hearst, where he practiced in the areas of medical malpractice defense, general business litigation and employment law defense.
Travis is an active member in the Fresno County Bar Association, a member of the Human Resource Association of Central California and the Central Valley Safety Society. Travis was also the co-founder and vice-president of the student association "Building Better Communities," while he was a student at Fresno City College.
Travis is the Committee Chairperson for his son's Boy Scout Troop.
Travis and his wife Lori have four young children who keep them very busy. They enjoy traveling as a family and camping with their golden retriever. Travis enjoys reading a wide variety of subjects, including history, political philosophy, and comparative religion. He is also conversational in German.
