Practice Areas:

Amanda Bishop practices in the areas of employment law and general civil litigation. She assists employers in drafting employment agreements and employment handbook provisions. She also represents employers against claims of wrongful termination, sexual harassment, unlawful discrimination, and wage and hour disputes. Outside of her practice in the employment arena, Amanda assists clients with general civil litigation, including matters in the areas of contract and tort.

Previous Work:

While attending San Joaquin College of Law, Amanda was a Law Clerk for Fishman, Larsen, Goldring & Zeitler. As a Law Clerk, she assisted in drafting various pleadings, discovery, trial outlines and pre-litigation correspondence.

Professional Activities:

Amanda is a member of the Fresno County Young Lawyers Association and the Fresno County Bar Association. She is also an active member of the Human Resource Association of Central California and the Central Valley Safety Society.

Life Beyond The Law:

As a former collegiate volleyball player for California State University, Fresno, Amanda enjoys participating in local athletics, including grass and indoor volleyball. In 2003, Amanda ran in the Rock & Roll Marathon in San Diego, California, and she hopes to participate in another marathon in 2012.
